Twisted Designs are skilled building designers who can contribute flair and imagination when looking into the feasibility of your requirements and in developing design solutions.
We are construction professionals with knowledge of the industry, working methods and standards. Twisted Designs has over 8 years experience in the industry with over a year spent studying and building straw bale projects.
We offer our Services on an hourly basis or pre-determined lump sum agreed before work commences. However value also comes in part from keeping within the budget and seeing that a project runs efficiently to completion. It is also about how well the building will function in use, its running costs, life expectancy and resale value.
This starts with investigating the feasibility of your requirements, developing design proposals and applying for statutory approvals. It includes the handling of tenders for building work, and assisting you when the building is handed over by the contractor.
An agreement can be taken out with Twisted designs and our services can be as flexible as you wish. For example you may want to engage an architect up to and including a Planning Application. We will arrange our fee according to the work stage reached, we do not charge for any work that has not been carried out.
VAT is applied to Twisted Designs fees.
We cover our out-of-pocket expenses at cost price, covering for example: photocopying, postage, printing, travel costs if appropriate, photography etc. We can provide full details of these costs incurred on request.
